ECA presents: 'Under Our Moon Future Ascensions'

Announcing the Inaugural Exhibition at ANTI-AESTHETIC

Eugene Contemporary Art presents ‘Under Our Moon Future Ascensions’, the inaugural exhibition at ANTI-AESTHETIC, ECA’s new brick and mortar gallery space. On view Dec 14th, 2019 – Feb 15th, 2020, at 245 W 8th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401. This exhibition is graciously sponsored by GMA Architects.

This exhibition brings together works by Sajad Amini, Dana Buzzee, Agnese Cebere, Eden V. Evans, Noelle Herceg, Erin Langley, Ian Sherlock Molloy, Hannah Petkau, Tyler Stoll, Elnaz Talaei, Nathan Alexander Ward, and Carol Yahner, showcasing the rich and vibrant art practices currently held within the Master of Fine Arts program at the University of Oregon. 

‘Under Our Moon Future Ascensions’ will be open Saturday December 14, 2019, 12:00 – 4:00 PM and by appointment for the rest of December, with regular gallery hours each Saturday from 12:00-4:00 PM starting in January 2020. Join us during the First Friday ArtWalk, a local monthly arts event facilitated by Lane Arts Council, on January 3 from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. On Friday, January 10 from 6:00-8:00 PM we will be hosting an artist reception as a public celebration of the powerful art practices that are currently blossoming within our community.

This exhibition follows our mission of facilitating publicly accessible dialogue around contemporary art, and opening up a conversation between artists and art making practices within the University, and the local community.
